U.S. Buyer Information
Exchange rate will be taken at par.

Delivery to U.S. buyers
We welcome your participation in the Big Gully Farm Internet Hereford Sale.  We hope the quality of our cattle suits your interests.  Listed below is important information for U.S. buyers.  We ask you to read and familiarize yourself with this information.  Please call us if you have any questions regarding this information or the sale cattle.

  1.  If a U.S. buyer wishes for Big Gully Farm to arrange shipping we will do so to the best of our ability.  Part of arranging U.S. shipment is dealing with specific dates and times that cattle have to meet U.S. trucks.  Taking advantage of these opportunities can help keep your shipping cost reasonable.  If these opportunities are missed then this means buyers of individual animals may have to bear the entire cost of shipment to their U.S. destination.  Prompt payment ensures your animal is available to take advantage of group shipping opportunities when available.
  2. We are happy to assist with the paperwork and getting your purchases across the border.  In lieu of U.S. Customs and brokerage charges: U.S. buyers will be charged $250 for each animal purchased in addition to the purchase price, which will go toward the export cost.  Big Gully Farm will then cover all additional costs, including veterinary charges, above this amount including trucking cost to our nearest U.S. port of entry.  This charge is based on the assumption that all U.S. bound cattle will be exportable across the border in one shipment.  Any U.S. cattle remaining at Big Gully Farm due to late payment will then be charged for all export cost and additional examinations by the veterinarians above the $250 already charged.
  3. All trucking from the U.S. port of entry to the buyer’s final destination will be the expense of the buyer.
Please provide us with the following information to satisfy the U.S. customs office and brokers.  Full name, complete address, phone numbers and Social Security number.
